Day 179: reminder of perfection

I was sharing a meal with a dear friend when she brought to my attention humanities constant efforts to reach perfection. We can pour everything we’ve got into being the brightest, nicest and most loved human on the planet but in the end we all fall a long way short of flawlessness. That’s why I am thankful that there is a Father of perfection, calling us to be children of the light.
